Simple present

Hello.. guys!!

i know that all of you familiar with simple present, right? so actually what is simple present?
Definition:
simple present is one of type tenses in English which is explain about present time.
there are two patterns of simple present tense with to be ( is,am,are) and without to be:
pattern one (without to be, so we directly with verb one or verb base)
- Subject + verb 1 + Object
if subject He, She, it, verb is added with s/es
if subject they,we, i, you don't added s/es
example :
1. i have an apple . here i as subject, have as verb one or verb base, and an apple as object.
2. they play foot ball.
3. she eats meatball.
4. we go to school by bus
5. he drinks orange juice
Pattern two ( with to be )
- subject (I) + am + complement
- Subject (he,she,it,PN(proper noun(nama orang)) + is + complement
- Subject (They, we, you)+ are + complement
example :
1. she is beautiful
2. the cat is cute
3. he is handsome
4. i am happy
5. we are in canteen
pattern two is used whenever the subject will followed by adjective (kata sifat) or noun (kata benda), adverb(kata keterangan).
